I’m Joanne Becker, founder of Becker Creative, a Sydney-based studio specialising in bespoke art framing, sourcing and design solutions for residential and commercial projects. My work is about more than filling walls. I use art to bring character, harmony and joy to spaces, creating interiors that feel refined and deeply personal.

I have always been drawn to colour, texture and balance. When these elements work together, art doesn’t compete with a space — it enhances it, celebrates it and allows it to shine. This belief guides every project I take on and ensures that the outcome feels both thoughtful and enduring.

Before starting Becker Creative, I spent eight years in the picture framing industry, working my way up to head of design. In that role I collaborated with Sydney’s leading interior designers, architects and property stylists to integrate art and mirrors into homes, offices and hospitality spaces. I also worked directly with private clients to design framing and art schemes tailored to their style and story.

My path has been shaped by more than design alone. A lifelong interest in science and physics, combined with a family of builders and joiners, gave me an instinctive understanding of how things fit together and how to make complex ideas possible. Earlier in my career, I also worked in the luxury fashion industry, where I developed a lasting respect for design excellence and for client care of the highest standard.

Today, Becker Creative is trusted by homeowners, stylists and businesses across Sydney for art sourcing, custom framing, placement and complete project management.
